The last screw steamboat in Austria
The “Thalia” steamboat – elegant and unique. One of the last screw steamboats in Europe. Built in 1909, taken out of service in 1974 due to a ruptured shaft. Following extensive restoration work, the boat was relaunched on its second maiden voyage on 2nd July 1988.
The “Thalia”, the flagship of the Lake Wörthersee fleet, is used for excursion trips and special trips. On the lower deck there are two salons, one at the bow and one at the stern.
Feel a breath of nostalgia as the “Thalia” glides over Lake Wörthersee!
